Mark has been around the Detroit bar scene for well over 15 years. After playing in many original bands in the late 80's, he decided to form his own cover/party band with his best friend Dave. Sgt. Rock was a staple at the Woodbridge Tavern downtown for over a decade as well as many Westside clubs. They also played many weddings and parties to great acclaim. After dissolving in late 2002, he went on to play in a couple of ill fated bands until forming his own Sgt. Rock 2 or as they would become known SR 2. SR 2 had a good run of over 2 years until calling it a day at the end of 2005. Mark also plays in an all original band called Melt that you can catch on the weekends when CJ is off. Mark plays DW drums, Sabian cymbals, Peavey/Ludwig snares, Tama/Pearl hardware and Zildigan hi-hats. He also sings various styles and can at times adjust his voice to whatever artist he is covering. His main influences are The Beatles, Classic Kiss, Sweet, King's X and Enuff Znuff. He is looking forward to a great future with Cruizin' Jupiter. High energy, good tunes and a party atmosphere is where its at.
